Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer, who played a crucial role in the team reaching the finals of IPL 2021, recently had a ‘cute’ interaction with a popular actress on Instagram, leading their followers to believe there is something brewing between the two of them.
Venkatesh Iyer posted a comment on Telugu actress Priyanka Jawalkar’s Instagram picture, which originally sparked the dating rumours. He wrote ‘cute’ underneath the post, which was met with the response ‘Who? You?’ from the actress. Neither the cricketer nor the actress, however, reacted to the speculations. Venkatesh Iyer, who proved to be successful in a very short amount of time during his stint with KKR in the 14th edition of IPL, ultimately made his debut for team India as well after being included in the national squad for their T20I series against New Zealand in November 2021.
The 27-year-old all-rounder was also named in India’s ODI squad for their series against South Africa in December 2021, where he made his debut earlier this year. Venkatesh Iyer, however, has failed to make a mark in IPL 2022, having registered scores of 16, 10 and 3 in his first three matches of the tournament. Priyanka Jawalkar, meanwhile, is best known for her roles in the films Taxiwala, Thimmarusu, and SR Kalyanamandapam.
