Venkat Prabhu wows fans in ‘Varisu’ Dil Raju mode during ‘Custody’ promotions

Venkat Prabhu’s speech at the pre-release promotional event of his upcoming movie ‘Custody’ set the stage abuzz.  He brought the house down adapting producer Dil Raju’s style used in the audio launch of Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varisu’, brought the house down.

Venkat Prabhu tried speaking in Telugu at the Hyderabad venue and said “In ‘Custody” if you want style it is there, if you want action it is there. if you want sentiment it is there, if you want romance it is there, in short whatever you want it is there.”  The crowd responded by laughing out loud and just as he was leaving the stage Chai who enjoyed it the most reminded him about mass and VP returned to the mic and said “If you want mass there is mass”.

It is worth recalling that during ‘Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ audio launch Dil Raju enthusiastically said all of the above and more to convince the audiences and fans that the Vamshi Paidipally directed film was a wholesome entertainer.

Naga Chaitanya plays the role of a junior cop in love with Krithi Shetty’s character and the crux of the story is what happens when they get embroiled with a deadly killer played by Arvind Swamy.  The film produced by Srinivasa Silver Screens has music by Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja and also stars  Priyamani, Vennella Kishore, R. Sarathkumar, Sampathraj and Premji, among others.
