Whoa! Venkat Prabhu releases ‘Chennai 28’ part 3 coronavirus lockdown version

Venkat Prabhu is at it again and this time its a kickass ‘Chennai 600028’ lockdown version from him and his boys.  The five minute short film has our familiar heroes who cannot stay away from cricket getting ready to play a match and that too strictly maintaining social distance.  

We have Pazhani getting ready to bowl from his house terrace and Aravind (Aravind Akash) begging him to be careful and bowl offside and avoid legside. Vaibav is with the bat and Ezhumalai (Ajay Raaj) and Seenu (Premgi Amaran) as the fielders.  The shot is played and Aravind shouts to Seenu to catch but the ball flies out of the house.  Premgi tries to go out of the building to retrieve the ball when the message begins.

We have Shiva in his inimitable style conveying that anyone who has returned from foreign countries are in contact with them should self isolate and if there are symptoms of fever, cold and respiratory infections to immediately contact the doctors.  There is a joke thrown in about corona the beer vs coronavirus the killer.

Then Vijayalakshmi pitches in with the emphasis on handwashing and then the team goes on to make a complete COVID 19 awareness video like no other but at the same time connecting well with the audience.  And in one word this Venkat Prabhu Lockdown is the need of the hour and a big winner.
