Megastar Chiranjeevi has revealed that the revenue from ‘Family’, the short film featuring himself, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra, will go into giving relief coupons to 12,000 cine workers of the Telugu film industry. This has been possible because of Big B.
“Amit ji has arranged 12,000 Corona Relief Coupons of Rs 1,500 each to be distributed to the daily wage film workers in the Telugu States from the proceeds of #Family. A BIG THANK YOU to BIG B for this wonderful initiative. These coupons can be redeemed at Big Bazaar stores,” the ‘Acharya’ actor says.
This is truly some much-needed timely help. Thousands of cine workers need incomes to buy groceries, etc. Coupons are an efficient way of helping them out.
Besides, the Corona Crisis Charity fund, supervised by Chiranjeevi, has been lending a helping hand for weeks now.
