Vellore Institute of Technology celebrates the birthday of its Assistant Vice President!

Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering (VITE) is one of the prestigious educational institutes in the Indian subcontinent. Now, the premium organisation has celebrated the birthday of its Assistant Vice President, Ms Kadhambari S Viswanathan in a grand manner. 

Today on 6 March 2022, a birthday ceremony was hosted at the VIT Vellore campus for the Assistant Vice President. Faculty members and Staff from VIT Bhopal have joined the ceremony in online mode and celebrated at Bhopal Campus as well. Ms Kadhambari S Viswanathan addressed the gathering and thanked them for their birthday wishes. 

The Assistant Vice President, VIT Bhopal commended the contribution of all the stakeholders in institution building and appreciated the initiatives being taken at VIT Bhopal Campus for training the future generations through Future Ready Programmes to contribute to the realization of Industry 4.0. She further congratulated the VIT Bhopal students for grabbing Super Dream (> 10 LPA) and Dream (> 5 LPA) Offers in prominent companies of International repute like Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan Chase and Co. etc with the highest package of 59 LPA. 

The AVP also mentioned the success of the first batch of STARS Scheme students and said that 27 students, hailing from 21 different districts of Madhya Pradesh, out of 32 students are placed in various companies with 10 Super Dream (> 10 LPA) and 7 Dream (> 5 LPA) offers. Under the STARS (Support the Advancement of Rural Students) Scheme, district toppers (1 boy, 1 girl) from MP Govt Schools are getting free education and free boarding facilities. 

Ms Kadhambari S Viswanathan has offered a donation of 5 lakh rupees to the Universal Higher Education Trust (UHET); a nonprofit organization established in 2012 with the motive of providing support to underprivileged students who complete 10+2 and wish to pursue higher education, on her birthday. On her birthday, food was distributed to construction workers in VIT Bhopal, Students of Kasturba Gandhi Girls School, Kothri and Senior Saskiya Girls Hostel, Gawakheda.
