Varun Tej’s ‘Ghani’ locks release date

Varun Tej’s 10th film, which is a sports-based drama, is titled ‘Ghani’. The news is that the awaited movie, which is directed by Kiran Korrapati, has locked its release date. ‘Ghani’ will hit the screens on July 30. “Entering the ring this July,” the Mega hero wrote on Twitter, announcing the release date. He is playing a boxer in ‘Ghani’, which is the first medium-range film to confirm its post-Summer release date. 

Presented by Allu Aravind, the film’s motion poster was released recently.  With Saiee Manjrekar as the heroine, it has Sandalwood superstar Upendra and Bollywood star Sunil Shetty in key roles. ‘Super Over’ actor Naveen Chandra, too, is doing the drama. If music and cinematography are by Thaman S and George C Williams, respectively, ‘Ghani’ has editing by Marthand K Venkatesh. 

Varun Tej, who last month recovered from coronavirus, is also doing Venkatesh-Anil Ravipudi’s ‘F3’. Produced by Dil Raju, the movie is about the problems that obsession with money brings. This one is likely to release in the second half of this year.
