The trailer of the much-awaited Tamil remake of the Telugu blockbuster movie Arjun Reddy was released a few minutes ago by actor Suriya on his official social media page.

Varma is an upcoming Tamil drama film, starring debutants Dhruv Vikram and Megha in the lead, which has been directed by Bala. The film is expected to be 20 minutes shorter than the original version. The trailer of the movie was released today by Suriya on his Twitter page, who had captioned it, “Here’s to a promising career..!!” and tagged Vikram’s son Dhruv, Megha, and the other important members of the crew.

The trailer is quite similar to its Telugu version, where the leads seem to have done a decent portrayal of the characters played by Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the original version. Varma also features Easwari Rao, Bigg Boss fame Raiza Wilson, and Akash Premkumar among others.

Produced by Mukesh Mehta under the E4 Entertainment banner, Varma is scheduled to be released in February 2019.

The soundtrack has been composed by Radhan, who also composed the album of the original version.
