Vamshi Paidipally makes ‘Maharshi’ a big contrast

It’s known that ‘Maharshi’ reportedly sees Mahesh Babu in the role of a US-return multi-billionaire who takes up the cause of farmers in a village.

It’s said that director Vamsi Paidipally took care during the scripting stage itself to make the film sound as different from ‘Srimanthudu’ as possible.  It shouldn’t be just about a rich man becoming a saviour.  So, to add variety, the script of ‘Maharshi’ has the element of friendship (Allari Naresh plays the ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ actor’s friend) and the theme of sacrifice.

Done with its Ramoji Film City schedule, the film is set to be shot in Pollachi in January.  Pooja Hegde is the heroine.  One of the biggest releases of 2019, this one has music by Devi Sri Prasad.  It will hit the screens on April 5 next year.
