Thala Ajith as murattu single for the first time in his career

Thala Ajith has been ruling the hearts of millions of fans by inspiring them for over three decades.  He has played a variety of roles on screen that has enthralled them in the sixty films he has done so far.  It has now been revealed that the charismatic star has played a unique character in his upcoming film which has never happened before.

Director H. Vinod in his recent interview has stated that in ‘Valimai’ he intitially wrote the screenplay to have Huma Qureshi as the love interest of Ajith.  Due to the coronavirus pandemic delays the screenplay had to be tweaked and now in the film the two stars will be just friends.  

Ajith before being called as the Ultimate Star was known as Aasai Nayagan due to his acting in a number of classic romantic films.  In his long career the superstar has always had a pair in his films excepting in ‘English Vinglish’ in which he played a cameo as the copassenger of Sridevi’s character.  So its a rare instance that the Thala fans are going to watch him as “Murattu Single” in ‘Valimai’ which will be an altogether new experience for them.

‘Valimai’ directed by H. Vinod is produced by Boney Kapoor with Yuvan Shankar Raja providing the music.  Ajith, Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu and Karthikeya are the main cast members.  The film is slated for release on Pongal 2022.
