Did you know this director refused salary for working in Ajith’s ‘Valimai’ ?

Ajith Kumar’s new movie ‘Valimai’ is releasing on January 13th worldwide and fans who are waiting with bated breath for two years are on cloud nine.  The past few weeks it has been flooding updates on the film with the trailer released last week has hiked expectations to the highest level.

Director H. Vinoth in his most recent interview has shared that director Vignesh Shivan who has written two songs ‘Mother Song’ and ‘Naanga Vera Maathiri’ in ”Valimai’ refused to take any remuneration for it.    The gesture of the ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ helmer has not only touched Vinoth and his team but AK fans are also lauding him on social media.

Vignesh Shivan is currently directing ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal’ starring Vijay Sethupathi with Samantha and Nayanthara as the lead heroines.  The release of this romantic entertainer is expected in the second week of February 2022.
