The censor report of ‘Vakeel Saab’ is going viral ever since it found its way into the Internet on Monday night. The film’s run-time is revealed as 155 minutes. To be released on April 9, it has received UA certification.
Cuss words like bi*ch and Telugu-language abuses such as mu*da and la*ja have been muted as per CBFC’s direction. A vulgar line (‘Kinda nuvu chusko, paina nenu choosukunta’) concerning sexual assault has been excised.
Inexplicably or otherwise, a female police officer using the word ‘prostitution has been disallowed. Somewhere, the phrase ‘bloody fu*king bit*hes’ has also been purged out.
Directed by Venu Sriram, the film stars Pawan Kalyan as lawyer Satyadev. Prakash Raj, Nivetha Thomas, Ananya and Anjali have played other key roles. Music is by Thaman.
