Vadivel Balaji’s relatives blame private hospital’s negligent treatment for his death

Ace television comedian Vadivel Balaji passed away earlier today shocking the entertainment and millions of fans around the globe.  It was said that he suffered a cardiac arrest fifteen days back which caused a stroke and partially paralyzed him.  He was admitted to the Billroth hospital and later shifted to Vijay Hospital.

Balaji’s relatives have told media that the news doing rounds that the family did not have money to meet the hospital expenses is false and that they had spent close to twenty lakhs and still could not save him.  They have stated that the negligence on the part of the private hospitals is to blame and that they discharged him in spite of his condition and assured that it is safe to take him home.

The family spokesperson added that after being discharged and at home his body suddenly became cold and that is when they rushed him to the Rajiv Gandhi government hospital where he passed away.  Balaji’s family are of the opinion that the private hospitals were intent on making money and not saving a life.
