Following Suriya's exit from director Bala's 'Vanangaan', reports surfaced all over the internet last night that the Jai Bhim actor's highly anticipated film with director Vetrimaaran, 'Vaadivasal', is most likely to be shelved. Now, the movie's producer has reacted to the speculations.
The Indiaglitz team got in touch with Kalaippuli S Thanu of V Creations after the news regarding Vaadivasal went viral. He confirmed that these reports are groundless rumours. The producer added that the team is actively working on the pre-production works of the upcoming movie. He asked the audience not to be bothered by these unconfirmed reports.
Vaadivasal was announced almost two years ago but the film is yet to progress to production. But the makers conducted a test shoot for the movie a few months ago. Thanu revealed that they are planning big things for Vaadivasal and some exciting updates are coming soon. Vetrimaaran will start working on Vaadivasal after the completion of Viduthalai.
Vaadivasal, the first collaboration of Suriya and Vetrimaaran, is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies in Tamil cinema. It is an adaptation of writer CS Chellappa's novel of the same name. With music by GV Prakash, the film's story is based on the Tamil sport Jallikattu (Bull Taming). Stay tuned for more updates.
