Tamil cinema fans all over the globe are eagerly awaiting news about the Suriya-Vetrimaaran magnum opus ‘Vaadivaasal’. Kalaipuli S Thanu who is bankrolling the project on a grand scale has officially updated that the film will go on floors in the fourth quarter of this year.
The veteran producer also shared that hundreds of bulls are being housed in facility and trained for the past one year since the test shoot happened. The cost incurred so far is around one and a half crores just for the staffing apart from the fodder for the animals. Thanu added that a London based company is also involved in the computer graphics creation and work has already underway for it.
‘Vaadivaasal’ based on the ancient Tamil sport of Jallikattu practiced for centuries has the electrifying combo of the hardworking star actor Suriya and the visionary filmmaker Vetrimaaran with G.V. Prakash Kumar scoring the music and Velraj handling the camera’. Thanu has gushed that the screenplay is so powerful that the film will be celebrated by Tamils all over the world and will become the pride of Tamil cinema.
