Recently, the horror film 'Masooda' became a sleeper hit. It had no star cast in it. But 'Connect' is a horror-thriller powered by Nayanthara's star presence. Directed by Ashwin Saravanan of 'Maya' and 'Game Over' fame, the film will hit the screens on December 22.

The news is that the distribution and production house UV Creations is going to release it in the Telugu States. Touted to be the first Kollywood film without an intermission, the film will have a big release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

'Kartikeya 2' actor Anupam Kher, who is enjoying the success of his Bollywood film 'Uunchai', has a key role. Sathyaraj, who was recently seen in 'Love Today', has another part.

Nayanthara's husband, Vignesh Shivan, originally produced 'Connect'. Vinay Rai and Haniya Nafis have other roles in the movie. If the cinematography has been done by Manikantan Krishnamachary, the film is edited by Richard Kevin and has music composed by Prithvi Chandrasekhar.
