12-year-old boy blackmails woman with her morphed pictures; asks for sex chat

In a shocking incident, a class 6 boy from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad has demanded sexual favours and money from a 21-year-old woman, threatening to share her morphed pictures on the internet.

The woman and the boy were reportedly part of a student group chat on the cloud-based instant messaging app Telegram, from where the accused got the woman’s contact. She had handed over to the police nearly 18 screenshots of her conversation with the boy, who allegedly claimed that his mobile was hacked and that somebody else had been using his messaging apps without his knowledge. “The accused boy and his parents have dismissed all allegations levelled by the woman. They claimed that his phone was hacked. Initial investigation revealed that the accused is 12 years old. Police have asked the social media platform to provide information on the messages and the cyber team is also trying to trace the IP address,” an investigation official reportedly informed a news agency.

Following the incident that happened on May 17, the woman had had her mobile switched off for days before her worried friends and parents convinced her to reveal what had happened.
