UP man brutally killed after Indo-Pak match

In a shocking incident, a man named Vinay Prakash was burnt alive by members of a community after Sunday’s India-Pakistan match in Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur Bela village.

Going into the details, Vinay (a Dalit) celebrated the Indian cricket team’s spectacular victory in the mid-night.  On this, members of a community had an argument with him.

After he went inside his house, unknown elements lit fire to it.  Since it had a thatched roof, the destruction was complete.  The victim died due to severe burns.  His entire body was charred.  Since everyone around was asleep, nobody could notice the tragedy.

Police are probing the incident, which they have identified as an act of murder.
