Popular Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan, known for his roles in Tamil films like ‘Seedan’ and ‘Garudan’, has been involved in a controversy. His former manager, Vipin Kumar, has filed a police complaint against him at the Kakkanad Infopark Police Station.
The issue arose after Vipin Kumar shared a positive comment on Facebook about the recent Malayalam film ‘Narivettai’, starring Tovino Thomas, which was released last Friday. According to Vipin, this post angered Unni Mukundan. He alleged that Unni not only verbally abused him but also physically assaulted him.
In his statement, Vipin said, “I worked with Unni Mukundan for six years. After the film ‘Marco’, he was disappointed due to a lack of new opportunities. I had appreciated Tovino’s ‘Narivettai’ on Facebook, and after reading it, Unni told me I could no longer be his manager. He then attacked me and used harsh words.” Following this, Vipin filed an official complaint.
The police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter.
