It is already known that Kamal Haasan and Shankar resumed the shooting of 'Indian 2', which was halted back in 2020 after an accident, following the success of all time blockbuster 'Vikram' (Kamal 232). Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies teamed up with Subaskaran's Lyca Productions to revive this mega-budget project.

Meanwhile, Raaj Kamal Films International and Red Giant Movies officially announced a new film on Ulagayanayagan's birthday. Legendary director Mani Ratnam is set to direct Kamal in this movie, tentatively called 'Kamal 234', after 35 years. Now, we have hot news about Kamal Haasan's 233rd film to go on floors immediately after the completion of 'Indian 2'.

According to trustable sources, the Universal Hero will join forces with the critically acclaimed director H Vinoth for a quick project which is tentatively said to be 'Kamal 233'. Only 2 months of filming are left for 'Indian 2' and Kamal will complete his movie with Vinoth before 'Kamal 234' with Mani Ratnam, which is slated for a 2024 release.
