Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and director Shankar have been working on the magnum opus 'Indian 2' for the past few years. Now, the film is on the verge of completion and the makers are going to unveil an intro video of Indian 2 today at 05.30 PM.

Kamal will reprise his role as Senapathi (freedom fighter turned vigilante) from the 1996 blockbuster of the same name. We already broke to you that the team decided to split the sequel into two parts as it had much scope. According to the latest reports, Indian 2 will hit the big screens on 12th April 2024 while Indian 3 is preparing for a grand release on Diwali 2024.

Apart from Kamal Haasan, the project has An ensemble cast featuring Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Jayaprakash, Manobala, Vennela Kishore, Deepa Shankar and others.

The sequels are produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography handled by Ravi Varman and Rathnavelu and edited by A Sreekar Prasad.
