Twenty seven year old Tushaar Pujara living in the Dombivili area in Mumbai fell in love with his 47 year old married neighbour Deepa (Name changed). When he declared his love the woman had adviced him about their age difference and refused to entertain him. However Tushaar reportedly started behaving in a sexually tempting manner in front of Deepa and even went to the extent of approaching her husband and asking him permission to marry her.
When both Deepa and her husband scolded Tushaar he started spreading rumours that the woman had affairs with two men in the area causing trouble between the couple. An angered Deepa had allegedly tricked Tushaar into coming to a secluded spot and with the help of two friends she cut off his penis and then surrendered to the police. The young man is admitted to a private hospital and his condition is said to be critical.
