Truth about bus firing incident in Hyderabad

Earlier on Thursday, an RTC bus going in the Secunderabad-Manikonda route witnessed a terrifying incident.  One Srinivas, who was equipped with a gun, opened a round of firing near Nagarjuna Circle in Panjagutta.  The bullet went through the roof.

What triggered the temper of Srinivas, a reserve SI with the police department?  As per media reports, it was an altercation with a passenger who had asked him to give way.  Srinivas arrogantly slapped the passenger, who gave it back to the culprit in the same coin.  At this, Srinivas opened his revolver and fired recklessly.

Curiously, none of the passengers and the bus conductor nabbed him.  Srinivas left the spot but an investigation was launched by the police to trace him.  He was caught in 5 hours.

It’s said that he is a personal security guard of a prominent person in the city.  He will now be tried for offences under the Arms Act.
