Truth about Balakrishna’s ‘surgery’ arrives

It has been rumoured that Nandamuri Balakrishna has undergone a knee surgery at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad. This has had his fans worried although media reports have confidently claimed that it was a minor surgery.

The fact of the matter is that the ‘Akhanda’ actor has not undergone any surgery. His team today clarified that it was a routine health check-up that he had gone for. There is no truth in the gossip that Balayya has undergone a knee surgery.

There is no postponement of the shooting schedule of his upcoming movie directed by Gopichand Malineni. Balayya is participating in the shoot at Sarathi Studios today.

In November last year, Balayya underwent a minor shoulder surgery. He promoted ‘Akhanda’ while recuperating from the same.

NBK107, co-starring Shruti Haasan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Duniya Vijay and others, will hit the screens later this year. Balayya will be seen both as a father and a son. There is more to the story than the sentimental aspect. A canal is at the centre of the plot. The film is a commercial potboiler.
