Bill Gates supports WHO, as Trump stops funding!

Yesterday, the U.S. President Donald Trump had made an announcement on halting the funding to the World Health Organization blaming the organisation for its handling of the coronavirus pandemic, even as the country’s death toll has been increasing.

When confronted with questions on his administration and the activities taken by his government to combat Coronavirus,Trump has been reacting strongly against the criticism and has now turned against the WHO, saying that they had promoted China’s disinformation about the virus.

Now, opposing Trump’s decision, one of richest in the world Bill Gates has tweeted “Halting funding for the World Health Organization during a world health crisis is as dangerous as it sounds. Their work is slowing the spread of COVID-19 and if that work is stopped no other organization can replace them. The world needs @WHO now more than ever.”
