Trisha to star in superhit remake?

The latest successful movie in Bollywood happens to be the investigative thriller Badla directed by Kahaani fame Sujoy Ghosh and starring Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. The movie was produced by Shahrukh Khan’s Red  Chillies entertainment.

Now the latest buzz is that there are plans to remake the movie in Tamil, and that the Tamil remake rights of Badla have been acquired by G Dhananjayan, who had last produced the Jyothika starrer, Radhamohan directorial Kaatrin Mozhi, again a remake movie(Tumhari Sulu).

It has also been speculated that Trisha, who’s fresh from the success of her Jaanu act in Premkumar’s romantic hit 96, has been approached to reprise Taapsee’s role in the movie. An official confirmation is expected, and if these speculations turn out true, it will be an interesting movie to watch out for.
