Following the sudden upsurge in Covid 19 cases in Tamil Nadu Four days ago Trisha Krishnan took to Twitter and confirmed that she had tested positive for Covid-19 sometime before New Year.

However, she further added that although she suffered from all the symptoms, she is now recovering from the virus. Trisha also penned a detailed note on her social media site regarding the same.

In a Twitter post, she wrote, “Despite taking all the precautions and safety measures, I tested positive just a little before the New Year. You name the symptoms, I had it ! Even tho it was one of my most harrowing weeks, I am recovering and feel better today thanks to my vaccinations. I request everyone to do the same and mask up. Hoping to clear my tests and fly back home soon. My heartfelt thanks to the best family and friends I have and for all the prayers.”

Now after four days Trisha has tested negative for Covid and she confirmed the same on her Twitter along with a photo. She wrote, " Never been happier to read the word “negative” on a report Thank u all for your love and prayers Now I’m ready for you 2022".

On the professional front, she will next be a part of Mani Ratnam’s historical drama Ponniyin Selvan. Besides Trisha, the film also stars Aishwarya Rai, Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Lal, Sarath Kumar, Jayaram, Vikram Prabhu, Prabhu, Ashwin Kakumanu, Kishore and Aishwarya Lekshmi.
