Trailer Review: ‘Chal Mohana Ranga’

If the Trailer is any indication, Nithin’s 25th film, titled ‘Chal Mohana Ranga’, is sincerely fun-filled.  

The lead pair, played by Nithiin (as Mohana Ranga) and Megha Akash (as Megha), have much to sort out.  In the teaser, the hero was heard narrating the shortness of his love story in a certain language, only to be confronted with a Trivikram-esque punch line: Are you and your ex-weather reporters?  On the other hand, the Trailer gives a glimpse into the conflict situation arising between the two.  

Excellent visuals (thanks to Natarajan Subramanian, who has been described by the makers as the film’s backbone) and a lilting music (SS Thaman is back after ‘Tholi Prema’ with one more promising output) also mark the Trailer that also sees a confident Nithin trying comedy with Satya and others.  Rao Ramesh has a fun role, it seems.  

Set in the US, the film has been directed by lyricist turned director Krishna Chaitanya.  

Most of the cast members are not seen in the Trailer.  Naresh, Liji, Rohini Hattangadi, Sanjay Swaroop, Prabhas Sreenu, Narra Sreenu, Madhu Nandan, Pragathi, Sathya, Pammi Sai, Rajasri Nayyar, Ashu Reddy, Vennela Rama Rao, Kireeti, Ranadhir, Neelima Bhavani, Baby Hasini, and others are part of the cast.

Dance choreography is by Sekhar VJ.  Stunts are by Stunt Silva and Ravi Varma.  Screenplay and dialogues are by Krishna Chaitanya himself.

The film releases on April 5.
