The shooting will begin in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh on Monday and will go on for one week. As per sources, the team will return during Diwali time. The latest reports suggest that Malavika Mohanan is now in talks for the female lead role in Chiyaan 61. Rashmika Mandanna was approached earlier but she couldn't do the role due to date issues.

Also, the hot buzz is that the team is planning to reveal the first look poster and title on Diwali as a treat to the fans. Bankrolled by Studio Green, Chiyaan 61 is touted to be a grand-scale period action drama set around the lives of mine workers in the KGF. GV Prakash Kumar will be scoring music for the untitled movie.

On the work front, Malavika is currently acting in the Hindi film 'Yudhra' directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment. She is romancing Siddhanth Chaturvedi in the thriller which is getting ready for release soon.
