Earlier this week, the Indian government banned 59 apps which were from China, citing that these apps were dangerous and stole information from the Indian users and misused them. Some of these apps include popular ones like Tik tok, Helo, We Chat, Shareit etc.
The most affected section of app users due to this move by the Indian government were the users of Tik Tok which was a video sharing platform where users exhibited their talents in dancing, singing and acting, and now they’re shifting to other apps.
Referring to this scenario, a netizen had tweeted “Where are all the tiktokers going to go now?” and Petta, Master actress Malavika Mohanan has replied “Hopefully to a lesser cringe app”. Malavika Mohanan calling Tik tok a cringe app angered netizens who responded with abusive comments and trolls on her acting skils and calling it cringer than Tik tok.
