The Chinese video app Tik Tok was widely used in India by common people who could express themselves artistically. Elakkya is one such avid user of the app who is famous for her glamorous and sexually explicit posts. The government of India on Tuesday banned fifty nine Chinese apps in retaliation for the Galwan valley attack that claimed the lives of 20 Indian soldiers.
Elakkya posted a video on her Instagram page in which she has surprisingly welcomed the governments move to ban Tik Tok. She has stated that many protests were made in the past to ban the app that made her famous but now it has been done for a good cause to get back at the Chinese for their violations at the Indian border and the loss of Indian soldiers.
