In the meantime, Vignesh Sivan shared a heartwarming throwback video on his Instagram handle. The video captured a special moment from their first wedding anniversary celebration, where Nayanthara was pleasantly surprised by a private performance from his best friend, renowned flutist Naveen Kumar.

Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara tied the knot on June 9, 2022, in a grand ceremony in Mahabalipuram. The wedding was attended by a star-studded guest list, including Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth, AR Rahman, Suriya, Mani Ratnam, and Jyotika. For their first wedding anniversary, the couple opted for a more intimate celebration at their Chennai home. In the video shared by Vignesh, Nayanthara can be seen beaming with joy and emotion as she enjoys a private concert by her husband’s childhood friend, Naveen Kumar.

Vignesh expressed his gratitude for Naveen’s musical surprise in the caption accompanying the video. He wrote, “Our simple yet special moments. It was a very intimate celebration for our first anniversary with near and dear ones 🙂 the pick of them all… Thank You my best friend from the Age of 12! Navin! I have grown with you! Playing drums on the same stage with you, Heard you play in numerous stages and stages of my life! But this stage is the most memorable and special of them all da! Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara met on the sets of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in 2015. After dating for several years, the couple got engaged in 2021 and married in June 2022. They welcomed twin baby boys via surrogacy in October 2022.
