418 Locks September 18 Release Date; Prashanth Neel Presents Intense Horror Thriller

Pan India production house Mythri Movie Makers, which recently delivered the sensational blockbuster Irumudi, is now gearing up to offer a different kind of horror experience with 418. Acclaimed filmmaker Prashanth Neel is presenting the film, which marks the directorial debut of Kirtan Nadagouda, who has also penned the story.

Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar, the movie features Surya Raj, Charan Lakkaraju, and Preethi Pagadala in pivotal roles.

The much-awaited thriller has completed all its formalities, including censor proceedings, and has received an A certificate. The makers have officially locked September 18 as the worldwide theatrical release date.

The latest poster sets the tone for the film with a dark and unsettling visual. It features a person sitting on the floor in a dimly lit setting, with a hand reaching towards a blood-like trail forming the letter ‘A’. The shadowy lighting, muted colour palette, distressed textures, and scratches create an eerie and disturbing atmosphere, hinting at the intense world of the movie.

Unlike conventional horror entertainers that rely heavily on comedy, 418 is being positioned as a serious and intense thriller. Psychological tension, mystery, and fear are expected to drive the narrative, while the promotional content released so far has offered intriguing glimpses into the film without revealing its core mystery.

With the theatrical release date locked, the makers are now gearing up to intensify the promotional campaign and build anticipation among audiences.

On the technical front, Dinesh Divakar handles the cinematography, while Venky GG provides the music and background score. Ullas Hydoor is the production designer, contributing to the film’s distinctive and unsettling visual world.

418 is set to hit theatres worldwide on September 18.
