Those were painful years of my life: Renu Desai

Renu Desai, expressing her state of mind over the years, has said that she started out with innocence and hope as a 17-year-old, only to go through years of pain and sorrow later.

“We all start out in our life full of hope, faith, confidence and lots of innocence. But as every year passes and we encounter a variety of other humans and some unfavourable situations, we slowly start to change.  We allow the negativity to influence our innocence and we slowly become bitter, angry and desolate individuals. I feel the entire journey of life should be about experiencing all the possible emotions and situations, positive and negative and still keep the innocence, faith, and hope intact within,” the ex-wife of Pawan Kalyan writes.

“But situations got out of hand within a year and after that, I have experienced the craziest 20 years of my life. During the pain, sorrow, and unknownness of the journey, the only thing I knew is to not let the innocence and trust die in me.  Keeping your faith going in the most difficult times is what true victory is all about. It’s easier to turn bitter and difficult to remain positive.  But, the difficult path will take you to your ultimate destination, of peace,” she signs off, exuding optimism.

Renu, as is known, recently got engaged to a family friend.
