For the past few days, the whole state has been shell-shocked with the revelations on the Pollachi Sexual abuse case involving fee politically influential youngsters, who had abused, threatened, captured videos and blackmailed around 200 women and now, the legal action has been initiated against 4 of them.

This gang had been luring women in the name of love, and later raped them, captured videos and blackmailed them for money and sex, and this came to light following a complaint filed by a college student on February 24, and after this, Sabarirajan, Thirunavukarasu, Sathish and Vasanthkumar were arrested.

Following the order of the district collector Rajamani, these 4 accused were arrested under Goondas act. The highlight of this case is that one of the main accused, Thirunavukarasu's mother Selvi had moved a bail petition to release her son in the Pollachi magistrate court, and this petition was rejected. On the other hand, another important accused with political connection, former ADMK member Bar Nagarajan is nowhere in the scheme of things.
