There won’t be any films till end April

If you are a movie buff, Summer-2020 is going to be a nightmare you will never forget.  Going by the happenings and the exacerbating Coronavirus scare, don’t expect any film releases till end April.

Till now, all non-essential activities have been stalled up to March 31.  Nobody in his right senses should expect everything to be normal April 1 onwards.  Expect the ban on film shoots, etc. to continue.

“When the government starts relaxing lockdown-related restrictions, it will start with public transportation, schools, colleges, etc.  Cinema halls will have to wait.  Given this, how can we expect the film industry to be abuzz with activity anytime soon?” a commentator recently asked on a TV channel.

Speaking of Tollywood, ‘V’, ‘Nishabdham’, ‘Aranya’, ‘Orey Bujjigaa’, ’30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela’ and a few other releases may be in a position to arrive in May.  This is only if the worst case scenario or even a bad case scenario doesn’t play out in the country.
