The official titles of the sequels of Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel and Black Panther have been revealed as ‘The Marvels’ and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, respectively.
The titles for Captain Marvel 2 and Black Panther 2 were announced on Monday as part of a montage titled “Marvel Studios Celebrates the Movies.” The three-minute long trailer features scenes from previous Marvel blockbusters, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange and others, while late American comic book writer and Marvel legend Stan Lee’s voice in the background says, “I love being with people; it’s the most incredible feeling in the world. That world may change and evolve, but the one that will never change – we’re all part of one big family.”
The Marvels, which is scheduled to be released on November 11, 2022, will feature Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, among others. Meanwhile, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is slated to release on July 8, 2022.
