‘The Gray Man’ first reviews out with Hollywood critics raving about Dhanush

Dhanush’s Hollywood debut movie ‘The Gray Man’ is all set to release in select theaters in the USA and UAE on July 15th before streaming on Netflix from July 22nd.  Dhanush is in the states taking part in the promotions of the film.

D fans are in for more celebrations as the iconic star not only received high praise for his action packed antagonist role of Avik San but also his quick wit and humour during the press meet post the screenings there.  When asked about his Hollywood debut the multiple award winning multitalented star quipped  “I don’t know how I ended up in this film,” evoking laughter from all quarters.

Matt Neglia wrote THE GRAY MAN is a tactically aggressive, assassin action film by the Russo Brothers. Ryan Gosling brings his usual stoic toughness against Chris Evans’ wicked charm. Not as impressive as the Mission: Impossible or John Wick films but still a hefty piece of popcorn entertainment.

Dhanush the went on to add “The casting agency in India told me that there was a Hollywood project. I was like, ‘ok’. He said it was a big film. I asked, ‘which film?’ He said that it was a big film. Then, I asked him to share the details. It couldn’t get bigger than this. Of course, I don’t have much screentime. But, I was super thrilled. I was looking for an opportunity to explore and to learn more. This was such an amazing opportunity. I hope I delivered.”

Top film critic Courtney Howard raved about Dhanush calling his scenes in th efilm “ruthless”.  On the whole she wrote on Twitter  The Russo Brother’s ‘TheGrayMan’ has unrelenting, well-constructed action sequences. Battle of wits, bullets & brawn. Ryan Gosling &  Chris Evans  share excellent repartee (and sleazebag facial hair!). Ana de Armas is badass & beauty.
