In April last year, Deepika Padukone tested positive for Covid-19. Her family members too contracted the virus. Fortunately for them, they all recovered from the virus successfully. But it turns out that the Bollywood superstar had a very tough time coping with the infection and its aftereffects.
In an interview with Film Companion, the ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Chennai Express’ actress opened up about what she had to go through. “Life after Covid changed for me because physically, I was unrecognizable completely,” she said, suggesting that her thinking was not proper.
Deepika was on steroids as part of the Covid-19 protocol. “So Covid in itself was weird, your body feels different, your mind feels different,” the actress said.
The talented actress was recently in Hyderabad to shoot for ‘Project K’. Starring Prabhas as the hero and directed by Nag Ashwin, it has Amitabh Bachchan in a crucial role. She will resume her work on the movie soon. Currently, the shooting schedules have been rejigged in view of the third wave of the pandemic.
