Thambi Ramaiah directorial return – cast and crew details revealed

National Award winning character artiste and comedian Thambi Ramaiah started his career as a writer and later on director of films like ‘Manuneethi’ and Vadivelu’s ‘Indralogathil Na Azhagappan’.  After his huge success in ‘Mynaa’ he started concentrating on acting and direction took a backseat.

Thambi Ramaiah gets behind the camera after ten years and his new project has got the title ‘Ulagam Vilaiku Varudhu’ produced by Thenmozhi Sungra.  The film has his son Umapathy and popular Malayalam actress Mridhula Murali as the lead pair with Samuthirakani, Vivek Prasanna, Jayaprakash, Radha Ravi, Singam Puli, Mottai Rajendran, Powerstar Rajendran, Swaminathan, Srija Ravi, Sri Ranjani, Meera Krishnan and Y. Gee Mahendra in the cast.

‘Ulagam Vilaiku Varudhu’ music score is by Dinesh, cinematography P.K. Varma, art direction by Vairabalan and editing by Gopinath.The shooting commenced from 30.10.2017 and is continuing in locations in Pudukottai, Ambasamudhiram. Tenkasi and Courtalam.
