It has been rumoured that Megastar Chiranjeevi will collaborate with Salman Khan for a grand song in 'Godfather'. The news has been confirmed officially by S Thaman.
Speaking to Outlook, the star composer said that early talks are on with American singer, songwriter, and dancer Britney Spears to sing the song. If she comes on board, it will be nothing less than a coup by the makers of the film. Already, Chiru and Salman dancing together is massive enough. It is going to cost the producers a bomb to enlist the 'Princess of Pop' to croon the number. Hindi and English lyrics are likely to be a key feature of the song.
'Godfather', a remake of 'Lucifer' (Malayalam), is directed by Mohan Raja.
Produced by Konidela Productions and Super Good Films, its first and second schedules were canned in Hyderabad and Ooty, respectively. Nirav Shah is its cinematographer. Suresh Selvarajan is its art director. Written by Mohan Raja, the film is produced by Ram Charan, RB Choudary and NV Prasad.
