While his first post clocked millions of likes in no time, the superstar also shared his first Instagram story yesterday. It was an unseen photo of him from the ‘Leo’ sets on and the picture set the internet on fire last night.

As per the reports, he created a new record by becoming the quickest celebrity in India to gain 1 million followers. Also, Vijay is the third quickest star in the world to gain 1 million followers. He achieved the feat in 99 minutes. 

The 48-year-old actor is just behind Kim Taehyung (Korean pop artist of the world-famous BTS band) who gained 1M followers in 43 minutes and Angelina Jolie (Hollywood actress) who gained 1M followers in 59 minutes. Vijay’s first post is the most liked post by a Kollywood celebrity on Instagram. On the work front, he is now shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo.
