In the wake of the success of director Mari Selvaraj's highly acclaimed film "Vaazhai," a recent episode of Vijay TV's "Neeya Naana" focused on children who work while studying. The episode stirred a significant response on social media. During the show, a young boy shared his struggles, revealing that he works in a fruit shop apart from his education, often lifting heavy bags of fruit for hours to make a living.
He also mentioned that he walks over 3 kilometres if he misses the bus and expressed his sorrow over his mother's illness, stating that he hasn't been able to afford a bed to make her comfortable. After the boy's heartfelt story went viral on social media, it appears that Thalapathy Vijay instructed members of his Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party to extend help to the boy's family. This act of kindness is now gaining widespread attention online.
In a viral video, the boy's mother shared that TVK members reached out to them within an hour of the episode airing. She added that Thalapathy Vijay had watched the show and sent assistance through his party, which included buying them a bed, providing groceries, and depositing 25,000 rupees into their bank account. Additionally, the TVK members have promised to cover the boy's college fees.
Kudos Thalapathy @actorvijay & members of TVK for the immediate response â¤ï¸ð¥@tvkvijayhq pic.twitter.com/btqV66YyFC
