Thalapathy Vijay met with his Makkal Iyakkam members at the VMI head office in Panaiyur last week, where they discussed the new political party. After the meeting, it has been learnt that Thalapathy Vijay has planned to convert his welfare organisation within a month or two.
Now, the latest buzz in the town is that ‘Thamizhaga Munnetra Kazhagam’ (TMK) seems to be the official name of Thalapathy Vijay’s political party. As per the reports, VMI general secretary Bussy Anand will be jet off to Delhi soon to register the party officially on February 4th. The actor is said to concentrate fully on politics after his ongoing film, ‘GOAT’.
Sources tell us that Thalapathy Vijay has been selected as the party’s leader at the VMI meeting where the general secretary and treasurer were also selected. However, we have to wait for things to get official. On the work front, he will be heading to Sri Lanka for the next schedule of ‘The Greatest Of All Time’, directed by Venkat Prabhu.
