Whoa! Thalapathy Vijay and Captain Vijayakanth to rock the screens together after 31 years?

As we all know, ‘The Greatest Of All Time’ is one of the most talked about films in Thalapathy Vijay’s career. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, it is going to be filled with a lot of surprises. There was a buzz that CSK stars Suresh Raina and DJ Bravo would be doing cameos. Now, we hear that the late Captain Vijayakanth is set to appear in the ‘GOAT’.

Yes, the movie team has plans to bring back Captain Vijayakanth in a cameo role using AI technology. Vijayakanth’s wife Premalatha revealed in a recent interview that director Venkat Prabhu approached her and her son Shanmuga Pandian to seek their permission for the same. Thalapathy Vijay also has requested to meet Premalatha to discuss this matter.

DMDK leader, Premalatha said, “If Captain Vijayakanth was here, he would have approved this request out of his love for Vijay and his father SA Chandrasekhar. So, I am going to make that decision on behalf of him. As I’m busy with election work now, I’ve assured to meet Vijay and Venkat Prabhu with a positive response after the election.”

It is worth mentioning that Captain Vijayakanth and SA Chandrasekhar are very close friends in the film industry. SAC has directed Vijayakanth in around 17 films including the iconic blockbuster ‘Sattam Oru Iruttarai’. Vijayakanth has helped many actors and technicians in Tamil cinema. Out of his love for SAC, he co-starred Vijay in the 1993 film ‘Sendhoorapandi’ to help Vijay in the initial phase of his career.
