Suriya indirectly confirmed returning as Rolex in ‘Thalapathy 67’?

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Vikram’ starring Kamal Haasan not only became a monster hit but also gave birth to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.  Characters from the filmmaker’s other super hit film ‘Kaithi’ such as Dilli played by Karthi, Bejoy, Anbu, Amudha and Kamamachi played respectively by Naren, Arjun Das, Baby Monica and Dheena appeared in the film.

To top it all a new super villain Rolex played by Suriya was introduced and instantly gained a cult following.  Ever since Lokesh’s next movie ‘Thalapathy 67’ starring Vijay went into pre-production it was speculated that it would also be a part of LCU.  Some reports even suggested that Suriya could be playing the main villain as Rolex in the film.

Meanwhile leading actress Trisha Krishnan who is also speculated to be playing the female lead in ‘Thalapathy 67’ was interviewed for the promotions of ‘Raangi’.  She stated in the interview that fans have to wait patiently for January when the film goes on floors to know if she is a part of the project or not.

Fans have discovered that Suriya has liked Trisha’s interview clip on Twitter and this has given rise to fresh speculations that he is definitely a part of ‘Thalapathy 67’ and will clash head on with Vijay as Rolex. If this turns into a reality then Vijay and Suriya will be acting together after 21 years since ‘Friends’.  The duo also earlier teamed up for Suriya’s debut movie ‘Nerukku Ner’.  Lets keep our fingers crossed for this super exciting team to happen and give fans one of the biggest treats in recent times.
