Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' is the major attraction for the summer when theaters open after the coronavirus pandemic is arrested hopefully at the earliest. For almost a month now speculations regarding Vijay's next movie have been doing the rounds with Sudha Kongara of 'Irudhi Suttru' and 'Soorarai Pottru' as the frontrunner. Reports emerged that though the script has been finalized there would be a delay in the preproduction and hence the project has been pushed to the future.
It was said that 'Thalapathy 65' produced by Sun Pictures will have A.R. Murugadoss on the director's chair. Now another rumour started that ARM's former associate Ajay Gnanmuthu has signed on for the project. The young director has delivered two hits 'Demonte Colony' and 'Imaikka Nodigal' and is currently helming one of the most expected project 'Cobra' starring Chiyaan Vikram. He is also known to Vijay having served as an assistant director in 'Thuppakki'.
Ajay Gnanamuthu has denied the news that he will be directing 'Thalapathy 65' releasing for Pongal 2021. Well it remains to be seen what the next buzz is about this project and when the official announcement would come.
