Vijay will be completing all his work for 'Bigil' by the end of next month and after the release of the film on Diwali 2019 will begin shooting for his next 'Thalapathy 64' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of 'Maanagaram' and 'Kaithi' fame. It is said that the subject will be a completely different one which will showcase the Thalapathy in an entirely new avatar that will be a joyous treat for his fans.

We had already reported that Vijay's relative Xavier Britto will be producing 'Thalapathy 64' with Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music and Sathyan Sooryan and Philomin Raj will serve as cinematographer and editor respectively. Now the buzz is that the script has scope for two heroines and 'Geetha Govindam' fame Rashmika Mandana and 'Ayogya' and 'Adanga Maru' fame Raashi Khanna are the frontrunners to romance Thalapathy Vijay. However, this is too early to get official confirmation and we will have to wait and see if there is credence to it in the near future.
