The 'CCV' official trailer has hit the web and fans are raving, eagerly waiting for the feature. But what if we say that Thalapathy Vijay might've been a part of the cast? Not only him, add Prince Mahesh Babu as well. Scratching your heads already?

The year was 2011. Veteran director Mani Ratnam had expressed his desire to create a huge movie with Vijay and Mahesh Babu. Even Anushka, Arya was were touted to be in the cast of the film back then which was estimated at a humongous Rs.100 crores. 

However, the word around is that the South Indian multi-starer failed to take off owing to various reasons. And now we have 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' coming to entertain us on September 28, though without Vijay and Mahesh in it. 

But it doesn't hurt to just imagine the excitement it would've created with them in it. 'CCV' now has Simbu, Jyothika, Arvind Swamy, Prakash Raj, Vijay Sethupathy, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Arun Vijay.
