‘Thalaivi’ new still – Kangana Ranaut recreates classic Jayalalitha

The biopic of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister the late Selvi J. Jayalalitha is under production titled ‘Thalaivi’ starring Kangana Ranaut in the title role.  A new still from the film has been released which has Kangana in a Bharathanatyam pose recreating a difficult dance pose.  Jayalalitha was a trained classical dancer and that aspect gets importance in the new movie.

‘Thalaivi’ is directed by Vijay and produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh.  Arvind Swamy plays the pivotal role of Tamil cinema superstar turned much loved Chief Minister M.G. Ramachandran.  Priya Mani and Prakash Raj play Sasikala Natarajan and M. Karunanidhi respectively.  Music is by G.V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Vishal Vital and editing by Antony are the top notch crew.
