Thailand King Maha Vajiralongkorn, also known as Rama X moved to Bavaria in Germany as soon as the coronavirus started spreading in his country. He also took his four wives and 20 beautiful women to give him company while practicing strict social distancing.

For his stay the King reportedly booked the entire Grand Hotel Sonnebichl and was enjoying his life according to news reports when his entourage contracted the COVID 19 and 120 people including servants were sent back to Thailand immediately.

In Thailand it is punishable crime to criticize the King but even then Thais are taking to social media to slam him for enjoying a honeymoon like situation with twenty concubines while his country is facing the grave danger of death. A hashtag in Thai meaning "Why Do We Need A King" has gone trending on Twitter with a staggering 1.2 million shares.
